Sensual Journeys on Water...
A 4 week painting and pastel workshop to express your creativity in everyday life
with artist Dawn Meader

Thurs 6.30 - 9.30pm Feb 23th - March 15th 2012
OR
Fridays 9am - 12pm Feb 24th - March 16th 2012

In this workshop we explore the complimentary colours of orange and blue.

Orange is about honouring and growing the creative voice that yearns to be expressed in your life. This could be the way you run your business, create a home or a more defined creative pursuit like painting or dance.

In blue we explore opening the gateway to your intuition, which gives you access to your creative seeds and visions. When orange and blue come together we experience "feeling alive again and living with purpose."

The boat is the house of your gifts and your creative seeds. The water is spirit, which uses your emotional body to express itself in this world.

The images here are from a previous workshop. The one on the left had no drawing experience. It is a lot of fun. We use aromatherapy, visualizations and music to help you open up your creativity and your intuition.

You will be guided step by step and learn how to use pastels on acrylic paint.

Venue:  Melville Girl Guides Hall, cnr Stock Rd and Kitchener Rd, Melville.

Cost: $200 this includes all of your materials. $50 is required to hold your place.

Create a powerful mandala for 2012

 2011 Mandala

  to reflect

the balance and harmony

you would like to create

in your life.

What qualities do you want to bring into your life and what would you like to create ?

We will look at the key areas of relationships, health, spirituality, career, finance, play and creativity, paying attention to past cycles and rhythms.

When we become conscious of where we have been where we are now and what truly makes us in harmony with life we can plant powerful seeds for our future.

The mandala is a very strong way of bringing our seeds into existence. It also acts as a great balance in our lives.

Every colour relates to a different area or quality within us. We will be using colour to discover and express ourselves. For example coral is all about sensuality and love in relationships and community. The balance is turquoise.

We will be doing a series of drawings and mandalas, using mainly ink, acrylic paints and some oil pastels. There will be plenty of help, practice and play in using these materials. Most materials will be supplied.

All levels of experience are welcome.

When: Thursdays starting January 12th 6.30 - 9.30pm for 6 weeks
Or Fridays starting January 13th 9am - 12.00pm.
You can swap between classes if you can't always come on your day.

Cost: $300. Early bird by Jan 1st $270

Where: Melville Girl Guides Hall, Cnr of Stock and Kitchener Rd, Melville, Western Australia

Would you like to create a joy downpour that filters out into your life leaving you with an amazing drawing that expresses your spirit and your sensuality?

This painting and drawing workshop will bring this into being with your life-size Goddess creation of yourself to express and balance your senses. You will learn the senses that reside in different chakras in this workshop.

When you draw from your heart you activate your intuition and the doorway into living a more authentic life.  When you paint with complementary colours it resonates with the colours that lie in your bodies and so brings more balance into your life.
