Commissions
The Process for you.
- If possible it would be good to meet you but it is not necessary.
- We would look through works that I have done in the past to get an idea of what
f
colours and themes inspire you.
- Discuss any particular themes you have for your commission.
- Discuss, size, medium and budget.
- Create a time line that suits us both for work completion and payments.
- Discuss payment terms. The finished artwork will be unframed.
- We will exchange a contract agreeing on the above.
The Process for me.
- After we have agreed on the above, I go into meditation and from there draw and
f
draw until the image starts coming.
- I can send you sketches at this point.
- I like to be as flexible as possible whilst working so that I am always open to something
f
greater coming and original sketches will change somewhat as the painting progresses.
- If it changed dramatically I would talk to you about it.
- When I have some clarity on where the painting is going I start referencing imagery to
f
help me depict scenes more easily and accurately.
- From there the whole challenging and exhilarating creative process continues until I
f
ring you to tell you that it is all complete.
